ANDY GRAVES
Andy grew up in England and developed the travel bug early
in life during family camping holidays to France.
........ it’s about being passionate about
your work
His passion for photography was a marvelous complement to
the wanderlust that took Andy on his travels throughout Europe,
North America, the Middle East, Far East and Australia.
His photographic skills speak for themselves, but there is
more to Andy Graves than the person who holds the camera.
Andy holds a Bachelor Degree in Science and is a qualified
instructor in Scuba Diving, Exercise to Music, Aqua Aerobics
and Aerobics.
....... it’s also about understanding people
and how they feel
Andy specializes in location work, including executive and
family portraiture, corporate events, advertising, weddings
and even underwater photography. Much of his commercial and
corporate work is directed towards publication.
But above all, Andy’s experiences in training and development,
and management consulting, have given him a keen interest
in human movement and people management. Andy has developed
those special skills you expect to find in a professional
photographer charged with managing the myriad of events that
can, and do, occur on a typical wedding day or during an important
corporate function.
For Andy, understanding people and anticipating their special
moments creates opportunities to capture their true feelings
and the excitement of the day.
As Andy says “Essence of Time Photography is, first
and foremost, a people business.”
....... and it’s about being the best
Andy was a finalist in the Lord Mayor’s photographic
awards in 2001, and Winner of the Agfa ‘Once in a Lifetime’
competition in 2000.
Recently Andy has had articles published in Practical
Photography and Black and White Photography.
Andy was awarded the Licentiate of the British Institute
of Professional Photography (LBIPP)
in 2003.
